Nancy A. Ruffin is a powerhouse of inspiration, transformation, and leadership. With a career spanning over two decades, Nancy wears many hats—award-winning writer, leadership coach, sought-after speaker, and dedicated philanthropist. As a four-time award-winning author, Nancy has penned and published four transformative books, and her poignant essays and articles have graced numerous print and online publications. In March 2018, Latina Magazine spotlighted Nancy for her impactful strategic visioning workshops, further cementing her status as a leader in personal and professional development.

Recognized for her outstanding contributions, Nancy was honored in March 2020 during the 2020 Spring Somos Conference of The New York State Assembly Puerto Rican-Hispanic Task Force. This accolade celebrated her as a dynamic leader and philanthropist devoted to advancing the Puerto Rican-Hispanic community.

Nancy's impressive 20-year career in healthcare leadership fuels her passion for helping individuals and organizations excel. Her mission is clear: to bridge the gap between good managers and exceptional leaders. Known for her captivating presence and masterful oration, Nancy has headlined numerous high-profile events, leaving audiences inspired and empowered. From the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to VOYA Financial, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art to UBS's Hispanic Heritage Celebration, her influential voice resonates across professional and personal growth arenas.

Nancy’s expertise has been sought by giants like Google, LinkedIn, and WNET Thirteen, where she has facilitated workshops, seminars, and panel discussions. Additionally, she produces and hosts The Woman of Faith podcast, a weekly series that intertwines faith, goals, and personal growth, further expanding her reach and impact.

With academic credentials that include a B.A. in Accounting from Bernard Baruch College, an MBA in Healthcare Management from The University of Phoenix, and professional coaching certifications as an Associate Certified Coach and Professional Certified Coach (respectively)  from the International Coach Federation, Nancy blends her professional knowledge with her passion for leadership development. She serves on the National Board of Directors for The 100 Hispanic Women National, Inc., striving to break barriers and foster inclusion and innovation among Latinas.

In 2014, Nancy founded The Fierce Woman™ (TFW), an initiative dedicated to empowering women and recognizing emerging leaders. Through The Nancy Ruffin Success Academy, a division within TFW, women benefit from a comprehensive range of workshops covering financial literacy, entrepreneurship, strategic planning, and much more.

An alumna of the prestigious Voices of Our Nations Arts (VONA) writing cohort, Nancy has honed her craft under literary greats, including Pulitzer Prize-winning author Junot Diaz. Her participation in writing residencies at UC Berkeley, the University of Miami, and UPENN underscores her commitment to storytelling and personal expression.

Nancy's latest venture, the Next Level Leadership Academy, epitomizes her dedication to nurturing the next generation of leaders. Understanding that powerful leadership is the cornerstone of any successful organization, she equips entrepreneurs, business professionals, and aspiring leaders with the tools to excel.

Amidst her professional achievements, Nancy treasures her role as a wife and mother. Married to her soulmate for 23 years, she is the proud mother of two beautiful daughters, aged 12 and 8. They reside in New Jersey, where family life is at the heart of her inspiring journey.
